When it comes to which Chinese noodle dishes are the most iconic, it's hard to beat a classic beef chow fun recipe.



Ready in just over half an hour, Cantonese beef chow fun is a simple, quick, and delicious way you can get an easy and tasty meal on the table. All of the flavor in the sauce comes from Lee Kum Kee Panda Brand Oyster Sauce and Premium Soy Sauce, both of which harmonize in a blend of salty, sweet, and umami flavors. Try this beef chow fun recipe for a fast and authentic meal during the week!

How to make it

  1. Cook the rice noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

  2. In a small bowl, mix the beef with 1 tablespoon of Lee Kum Kee Premium Soy Sauce, and 1 tablespoon of Shaoxing wine. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the onion, bell pepper, and Lee Kum Kee Minced Garlic. Stir fry for 2-3 minutes, until softened and fragrant. Remove the vegetables from the wok and set them aside.

  4. Add the remaining tablespoon of oil to the wok. Add the beef and stir fry for 2-3 minutes, until browned and cooked through. Push the beef to one side of the wok.
  5. Add the noodles back to the wok, along with the vegetables. Pour in the remaining soy sauce, Lee Kum Kee Panda Brand Oyster Sauce, and Pure Sesame Oil. Toss everything together until well coated and heated through, about 2-3 minutes. Serve hot, garnished with fresh green onion.
