Start your morning off with a spark of heat from this spicy breakfast tacos recipe! Featuring bacon, eggs, cheese, and Lee Kum Kee Chili Garlic Sauce, it’s the perfect blend of spicy and umami that’s ready in under 30 minutes.
The Lee Kum Kee Chili Garlic Sauce adds a vibrant burst of heat and garlic flavor that pairs perfectly with the eggs and bacon. Add some sharp cheddar cheese, a salsa of choice, and fresh herbs to liven up the entire breakfast or brunch experience!
Season bacon with salt and pepper on each side to your liking, then add to a pan on a stove. Set the burner heat to medium high, and when the bacon starts sizzling, cook while stirring occasionally every 1-2 minutes. The bacon should naturally turn over and cook to crispy perfection on each side in about 8-10 minutes.
While the bacon cooks, prepared the scrambled eggs. Crack the eggs into a mixing bowl, ensuring no shell gets in. Beat with a whisk or fork with the Lee Kum Kee Premium Soy Sauce to season. Set aside.
Place the bacon on a plate lined with paper towels to drain. Leave some of the residual bacon fat in the pan and use it to toast your tortillas for 30-60 seconds on each side.
Remove tortillas, keeping in the bacon fat, and cook the scrambled eggs. Stir lightly with a spatula to get large, fluffy layers of egg, which should take around 4 minutes to fully set.
Get two plates for serving and place two tortillas on each, separated into individual tacos. Layer a strip of bacon on each, followed by a spoonful of scrambled eggs, a small handful of shredded cheddar cheese, a small spoonful of salsa, and a half tablespoon of Lee Kum Kee Chili Garlic Sauce. Garnish with cilantro and enjoy!
