While this char siu BBQ pork recipe is versatile across several different serving applications, one of the simplest and most time efficient is a rice bowl form. We opted for large bok choy leaves as the veggie of choice, but you can add whichever other veggies and garnishes you like!

How to make it

  1. Coat your pork in the Lee Kum Kee Char Siu Sauce, ensuring all side are evenly covered. Marinate for at least 30 minutes, but if you’re meal prepping this, you can leave it overnight.
  2. Preheat an oven to 375˚ Fahrenheit. Add the marinated pork to a roasting tray covered in baking paper and roast for 20 minutes. Flip over and roast for an additional 20 minutes. During this cooking time, you can steam your rice and cook the bok choy leaves.
  3. Brush the pork with additional Lee Kum Kee Char Siu Sauce for a final glaze. Roast for 5 more minutes, then take out and let rest.
  4. Divide your rice into bowls and carve the char siu BBQ Pork into ½-inch thick slices. Place atop the rice and serve with the bok choy leaves and green onion for garnish. Enjoy!
