How to make it

  1. Clean the pork, then soak up the excess water with some paper towel.
  2. Create a char siu marinade: Lee Kum Kee Panda Brand Oyster Flavoured Sauce, Lee Kum Kee Char Siu Sauce, Lee Kum Kee Hoisin Sauce, sugar, five spice powder, and white pepper. Place pork with marinade in a plastic bag for 30 minutes; best if overnight.
  3. Create honey wine by combining honey and Chinese rose cooking wine (mei kuei lu chiew).
  4. Preheat air fryer at 350℉ for 5 mins. Add marinated pork, cook for 5 mins. Flip over pork, brush with honey wine, and cook for another 5 mins. Flip again, brush with honey wine, and cook last time for another 5 mins.
  5. Thicken the remaining marinade into a sauce. Pour sauce over char siu.
  6. Slice the cooked char siu. Serve with rice, fried egg, and desired vegetables.
