This easy dumpling recipe is an umami-packed take on the viral dumpling bake, made with a red curry sauce!
By using a few simple flavor boosts, you can amp up the flavor of this recipe to turn it into a weeknight favorite! Sauces like Lee Kum Kee Panda Oyster Flavored Sauce, Lee Kum Kee Premium Soy Sauce, and red curry paste combine to provide the bulk of umami, heat, and complexity throughout the dumpling bake recipe. Coconut milk adds richness, lime juice or rice vinegar adds acidity, and Lee Kum Kee Chiu Chow Style Chili Crisp Oil adds an extra punch of heat and crispy textures. Serve this with a bowl of rice or noodles to soak up all of the sauce.
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a baking dish, whisk together the coconut milk, red curry paste, Lee Kum Kee Minced Garlic, Lee Kum Kee Minced Ginger, Lee Kum Kee Premium Soy Sauce, Lee Kum Kee Panda Oyster Sauce, and rice vinegar (or lime juice) until well combined.
Spread the bok choy or spinach evenly in the dish, then arrange the frozen dumplings in a single layer on top.
Cover the dish tightly with foil and bake for 25–30 minutes, until the dumplings are fully cooked and the sauce is hot and bubbling.
Remove the foil and garnish with green onions, cilantro, sesame seeds, and a drizzle of chili oil if desired. Serve on its own or with steamed rice.
