How to make it

  1. Fill a medium to large pot (one that can fit six eggs) with water and bring to a boil. Carefully lower in your eggs and lower heat so water is simmering.
  2. Cook the eggs for 7 minutes then immediately transfer to an ice water bath. Let cool completely before removing the shells from the eggs.
  3. While the eggs cool, heat the Lee Kum Kee Premium Soy Sauce, Seasoned Rice Vinegar, sake, and mirin in a saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a simmer without boiling for 2 minutes, then remove from the heat and let cool.
  4. Transfer peeled eggs to a marinating container and pour the cooled marinade over the eggs. If the eggs are bobbing at the surface, place a folded paper towel or weight on top of the eggs to ensure the marinade fully coats them. Leave to marinate for at least 4 hours, or overnight.
  5. Serve on top of a bowl of ramen for the perfect jammy ramen eggs, or save for other meals as desired. Enjoy!
