Seafood Yaki Udon is a quick and easy noodle dish you have to add to your weekly meal lineup. Ready in under 30 minutes, this mix of udon noodles, shrimp, and veggies of choice all comes together in a sweet and savory sauce powered by Lee Kum Kee Premium Oyster Sauce.

For this seafood yaki udon recipe, we opted for carrots, red bell peppers, onion, and cabbage for veggies. You can mix and match however you like, and that goes for the seafood as well – it doesn’t have to be just shrimp!

How to make it

  1. Combine all of the ingredients for your sauce mix: Lee Kum Kee Premium Oyster Sauce, Premium Dark Soy Sauce, Seasoned Rice Vinegar, brown sugar, cracked black pepper, and Pure Sesame Oil. Set aside.
  2. Boil udon noodles according to package instructions, then drain with cold water and set aside.
  3. Add 1 Tbsp. neutral cooking oil to a large wok or frying pan on medium heat, then toast the Lee Kum Kee Minced Garlic for one minute. Add your onions, carrots, cabbage, and bell peppers, and stir fry for 2-3 minutes. Season to taste and remove veggies from the pan.
  4. In the same pan, add the remaining oil and fry the shrimp. Once colored, add Premium Soy Sauce and cook until no longer pink. Add the udon noodles and fry on high heat so the noodles crisp up evenly.
  5. Add the sauce mix and veggies into the pan, and stir to combine. Switch off the heat and sprinkle over the green onion. Serve and enjoy!
