Transform your fried rice into a gourmet meal with this steak fried rice recipe, elevated with one simple ingredient: Premium Oyster Sauce from Lee Kum Kee.

 

A simple dash of Premium Oyster Sauce adds complex flavors thanks to its salty and umami flavors. Great for marinating the steak and seasoning the fried rice, it adds chef-level flavor with minimal effort, as this recipe is still ready in under 30 minutes!

How to make it

  1. In a bowl, combine steak with Lee Kum Kee Premium Oyster Sauce, Lee Kum Kee Premium Soy Sauce, Lee Kum Kee Pure Sesame Oil, and white pepper. Toss to coat and marinate at room temperature for 10–15 minutes.
  2. Heat 1 Tbsp oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat. Add steak in a single layer and sear for 2–3 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
  3. Add remaining oil to the skillet. Pour in eggs and scramble over medium heat just until set. Remove and set aside with steak.
  4. Increase heat to high. Add Lee Kum Kee Minced Garlic and white parts of green onions; sauté 30 seconds. Stir in carrots and peas, cooking 1–2 minutes until just tender. Add rice and stir-fry for 3–4 minutes until hot and lightly crisped.
  5. Add scrambled eggs and steak back to the pan. Stir in Premium Oyster Sauce, Soy Sauce, and Pure Sesame Oil. Toss to coat, then finish with green onion tops and sesame seeds.
