Give your next Taco Tuesday an interesting twist with this char siu pork tacos recipe. Ingredients like char siu pork, coleslaw, and charred green onions make this a flavorful and unique fusion.
The char siu pork couldn’t be simpler to make as well. This version is a basic and easy pork recipe featuring Lee Kum Kee Char Siu Sauce. If you want to upgrade the char siu, there’s also an air fryer Char Siu recipe that takes a little more prep and effort but is well worth it in terms of flavor.
Brush pork tenderloin even with Lee Kum Kee Char Siu Sauce and let marinade in the fridge for at least 30 minutes, if not overnight.
Let pork tenderloin come back to room temperature and preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees Celsius). Place the pork on a foil lined tray and roast for 20 minutes. Remove from oven, brush with additional Char Siu Sauce, and bake for another 5 minutes.
While the char siu pork roasts, you can toast the tortillas lightly in a dry pan on medium heat for 30 seconds on each side. Cover with a towel to keep warm.
Let the pork rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Layer 2-3 slices on each tortilla, top with coleslaw of choice, and garnish with the green onion.
